‘Check the country’ error while purchasing

The country error comes because one of the following 3 things is mismatched:

  • Your Actual Location.
  • Your Phone number should be of that country.
  • Your Address/Country on Play Store should be the same as above 2.


To fix the issue, you need to clear your payment profile of the google account you are trying to make the purchase with by clicking here.

Be careful, as you can do this only once a year in your Google account.


If the above step does not work, I recommend you try to make the payment from a different Google account with no payments done from it. This works in most cases.
